Crystal Eves is easily amused. When younger, the simple act of washing her hair would often throw her into hysterics. Things have not changed much since then.

Today, Crystal is still laughing about silly things and injecting humour into everything she does. She can’t seem to help it and at times she has suspected it to be a mental disorder, although she has never had this diagnosis confirmed.

Given this, you may find it surprising that for fifteen years people paid Crystal to give them advice as a metaphysical counsellor. But they did, because for a happy-go-lucky kind of gal, Crystal is also very insightful, compassionate and wise. She has no idea how she got that way. Perhaps it was her education, (she has a psychology degree from the University of Toronto) or her passion to explore the mysteries of life, but more likely, it was her tendency to make a lot of mistakes and obsessively analyze everything.

For over a decade now, Crystal has been openly sharing her insights with anyone who would listen.

For seven years she penned Cosmic Comics which ran in multiple community newspapers. She has written freelance for the Toronto Star and for various Internet websites, as well as an international magazine. She hosted a call-in television talk show as well as a magazine style program, both which ran on community cable.

Currently, she is writing “FROM CRYSTAL”, the increasingly popular e-mail column (to which I hope you have subscribed) and is working on a book project.

Her most recent and very loud giggle fit, was in the middle of yoga class while everyone was trying to meditate...
